Here at the design lab we are working on making prosthetics for the less fortunate. We are able to make these prosthetics due to a group of people from all over the world. We all do it for free and only ask for a small donation to help pay for materials.
This is a hand I made to get my badges. It's called the Phoenix and is a wrist activated hand. When the recipient put the hand on their forearm, they are able to close it by simply flexing their wrist.
In order to make these you must make one then have it approved from the people at www.enablingthefuture.org. Once approved you can join a network of other volunteers to help get these prosthetics to people all over the world at NO cost to them. We are currently working on getting approved for different types of builds so we can help even more people.
